UPS/DHL Ground Shipping
Items weighing less than 150 pounds will be shipped with UPS or DHL. Most items are shipped within 24 hours of receiving your order.
Shipping Methods:
UPS and DHL Ground are our primary shipping methods. Since UPS or DHL do not deliver to P.O. boxes, we strongly recommend you indicate either a residential or business shipping address to avoid delays.
Ship To Locations:
We ship to locations within the Continental United States, including locations in Canada that are accessible via UPS Standard Service. We do not ship to any other international location. At this time, delivery is limited to street addresses within the 48 contiguous states. Please note: No items will be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. protectorates and territories, PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Canada (UPS Standard) – International ground shipping (Canada only). Limited to regions where UPS Standard delivery is available (orders will not be accepted from customers located in zip codes that start with "X", "Y", or "Z"). Business day delivery only (M-F). All applicable brokerage fees and/or any local taxes are NOT included in the shipping quote when ordering and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping Costs:
Our shipping costs are based on the weight and size of the item and the distance the item/order must travel. All applicable brokerage fees and/or any local taxes are NOT included in the shipping quote when ordering and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Abnormal Shipping Charges:
Due to shopping cart malfunctions The Safe Guy reserves the right to make corrections to customer orders after they are placed. With customer permission The Safe Guy may also make additional charges to a customer’s credit card after an order is placed.
Undeliverable or Refused Shipments:
Packages will be shipped back to us if the customer refuses the package, is not available for several days for delivery, or if the address entered is incorrect or incomplete. US-destined packages that come back marked "Undeliverable as Addressed", "No Such Address/Street/Number", etc. will have a full refund issued for the products (including IL Sales Tax if applicable) but not the shipping charges. US-destined packages that come back marked "Refused", "Will Call, Did not Show", etc. will have a 20% restocking fee deducted from the value of the products before a refund is issued. Any additional shipping costs associated with recovering a refused or undeliverable package will be deducted from the refund. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Shipping costs be refunded.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not pay recovery fees for ANY Canadian shipments. Canadian customers who have undeliverable packages or who refuse their packages will not receive refunds for the items that were shipped, the freight, taxes, or brokerage fees, and the products will become the property of UPS. If the Tracking Status shows that you gave an incomplete address you will then need to contact UPS to provide the correct information. If you decide that you do not want the items then you will need to accept the shipment and then contact us at CustomerSupport@TheSafeGuy.com to receive return authorization.
Freight Delivery
Items weighing more than 150 pounds will be shipped through a common freight carrier of our choice. The freight carrier will contact you in advance to schedule a delivery date and time. Items shipped using a are normally delivered within 7 to 14 business days from leaving the warehouse.
Ship To Locations:
We ship to locations within the Continental United States that are accessible by a freight truck. At this time, delivery is limited to street addresses within the 48 contiguous states.
Curbside Delivery:
The delivery driver will move the safe to the rear of the truck at which time the customer will be responsible for inspecting, accepting and removing the safe from the rear of the truck down to ground level. We suggest you have extra help available to remove the safe from the truck and to its final location. A strong handcart, good appliance dolly, or pallet jack are items to be considered extremely helpful when moving heavy items.
Liftgate Delivery:
The delivery driver will lower the safe from the rear of the truck down to ground level at which time the customer will be responsible for moving the safe to its final location. We suggest you have extra help available to move the safe to its final location. A strong handcart, good appliance dolly, or pallet jack are items to be considered extremely helpful when moving heavy items.
Damaged Shipments:
Before you sign for the delivery, it is important to inspect the packaging for any potential damage that may have occurred during transit. It is normal for the packaging to show some wear. However, if there is visible content damage, refuse delivery of the order and contact us at 1-888-863-6270 or email us at CustomerSupport@TheSafeGuy.com. Please include your order number in the email or have it available when calling.

Local Pick-Up
Pick-Up of Items over 300Lbs:
Items weighing more than 300 pounds are available for FREE local pick-Up directly from the manufacturer located in Northern IL. The item will be loaded into your vehicle from dock or ground level using a forklift. You are responsible for assuring you have an appropriate vehicle for the proper loading, securing and transportation of the item. Neither The Safe Guy or the manufacturer will be held liable for any damage to the item, should it occur, once the item is loaded into your vehicle.
Pick-Up of Items under 300Lbs:
Items weighing under 300 pounds are available for FREE local pick-up from our location in Bolingbrook, IL. We’re pretty flexible and can work around most schedules. Please call or email us after completing your order and we will contact you to arrange a day and time most convenient for you.
